These Dinner Textiles show the design process of tableware. The technical drawing depicted on the textiles shows dimensions, comments and directions for the production of plates, glassware and utensils. When dining, people get a glimpse back in time of how their tableware was designed.
In the meantime, the beauty of the technical drawing serves as a nice backdrop for interesting dinner conversation."

Smart Jacket ‘anne’ is the fruit of the wish to combine fashion with technology embedded clothing. The conductive panel integrates the wired embroidered controls with the iPod and headphones in the jacket. The jacket is Bluetooth integrated. It can monitor heart rate and location, and doubles as a pedometer.
E-textiles are fabrics that enable computing, digital components and electronics to be embedded in them. Smart clothing or wearable technology incorporate these built-in technological elements in everyday textiles and clothes. ‘Smart’ also means that the technology is not visible on the fabric.
The promise of smart fabrics is that everyday clothing will be able to perform the task of comfort and protection more effectively. Its popularity is increasing and more research is being devoted to it, but smart clothing has not become part of the mainstream form of fashion yet. Until now, most smart fabrics have been integrated into active wear.
